The Green Cross Alignment Laser emits a very visible green cross or crosshair. At 8 feet distance the length of the cross is approximately 15 feet. Green Laser are more complicated than a red lasers. The green laser pointer beam is generated using an indirect process that begins with a high-power infrared AlGaAs laser diode operating at 808 nm. The 808 nm light energizes a crystal with neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum vanadate.
